Race 10, Woody's
Return To Woody's
Given the recent fire and floods on Mt Charleston we figured traffic would be lighter than ussual up at Woody's. We were right. Seeing this as a perfect time to run down our new favorite roads we lined up for NUDRS 10th race. Missing a couple of our regular drivers due to medical issues and late returns from vactions, we still mustered 3 carts and drivers.
The early lead was given to Farmer Joe in John Deere for pity's sake, but was quickly taken by Fat Guy in the newly rebuilt Rockstar. Cobra followed Fat Guy for a while playing with his too squishy brakes before letting loose to speed off down the hill. Unlike last visit to this road, there was no traffic to speak of to contend with allowing a fast and uniterupted run to the bottom.
Finnishing first was Cobra followed by Fat Guy and then by Farmer Joe. Farmer Joe was told he could come up with his own name when ever thought of something clever, but untill then he is cursed for with a true John Deere moniker.
1st - Cobra / Mayhem
2nd - Fat Guy / Rockstar
3rd - Farmer Joe / John Deere
